Amidst the ruin and its fragments: Unveiling Arquinho Factory's transformation through intervention and assembly processes is part of the publication "Deindustrialization, still. Visual Essays and Artistic Methodologies," and writes about the methods employed on the curatorial work conducted on-site at the ruins of the Arquinho Factory with artists. This essay discusses the curatorial methods employed during on-site work at the Arquinho Factory ruins, collaborating with artists. The processes included immersive activities such as takeovers, walks, stays, and conversations with artist-investigators and Fine Arts students from the University of Minho. These encounters not only challenged participants to actively engage with the space but also prompted a reconsideration of conventional approaches to narrating its history.
