Orchid was developed as an architectural ideas project for an electric charging station, but from the beginning it sought to question the notion of a fixed, centralized piece of infrastructure.

Instead of designing a single, defined location, the proposal imagines a system that spreads through the city. Inspired by orchids, the structure attaches itself to what already exists, light poles, urban supports, everyday elements, without the need to occupy new ground.

The intention was to shift the logic of use: charging would no longer be a destination, but something that happens alongside daily life, while moving through the city.

Composed of modular, solar-powered components, the system could grow gradually, adapting to demand and context.  Orchid proposes a way of thinking architecture as something that expands, connects, and operates within existing urban conditions.
