Glosar is a journal in the fields of Art Education and Visual and Urban Culture, conceived as a space for ongoing reflection, where writing and thought engage with images and territories within the framework of infrastructural and environmental critique. Its focus stems from the notion of situated knowledge, understanding thought as inseparable from the material, historical and affective conditions that produce it.
The journal operates between commentary and critique, approaching both as non-hierarchical relational practices that are developed through continuous engagement with images, territories, and artistic and spatial practices. Glosar functions as a device for creating proximity, in which writing becomes a gesture of annotating, generating friction, and accompanying, and where knowledge is produced less as a conclusive synthesis than as a process, a form of contamination, and a practice of care for what remains open.
