The text reflects on the Arquinho factory as a site that challenges conventional approaches to heritage and industrial spaces, proposing instead a more open and relational way of engaging with its condition.
Drawing on ecocritical perspectives such as Heritage Ecologies, it frames the site as a living network of human and more-than-human relations, shaped by processes of decay, regeneration, and transformation. The research approaches Arquinho as an interstitial space, where past, present, and speculative futures coexist and can be explored through artistic and spatial practices.
